iOS Status Bar Notifications

good evening, -

may remember, @ time when anticipated ios 5 launch, picture emerged possible method notifications delivered. looked blackberry-like in style , design. of course, later learned not how ios 5 , delivery notifications.

know if there app (for jailbroken iphones, obviously) can deliver sub-status bar notification design (see attached image). must say, love way looks. appreciated. much.
