sorry if these silly questions. apple device i've owned macbook pro , i'm considering getting iphone 4s next month.
icloud reason need upgrade lion. aside social media , communication apps, logic , traktor programs use.
want know, when iphone, can sync ical it? via usb or on wireless network? (preferably wireless/wi-fi, usb acceptable.) not sure how icloud website works because cannot yet create account able download/upload events , contacts or something?
i've seen application called busycal syncs icloud/ical/google calenders. perhaps solve issue? (though, cost $50) then, create through phone, update busycal on laptop if i'm connected network?
also, email pushing/sync? what's point of when there's app mail on ios?
aside this, don't want required upgrade lion...but if must...
(if it's of use, laptop specs in signature , have icloud installed on netbook running windows 7 [though apple id isn't icloud compatible yet])
i had mobile me before got ipad or iphone 4. @ time had ipod touch. mobile me kept contacts , calendar in sync between mac , ipod touch whenever in range of wifi. @ time had been using blackberry , using usb cable sync. not satisifed bb desktop manager osx nor satisfied mark/space missing sync.
saw settings in itunes have allowed sync of contacts , calendar during cable sync never tried them because subscribed mobileme.
when lion came out, got right away because wanted continue enjoy seamless painless sync accustomed mobileme. have had minor issues since then.
suggest consider upgrading lion have access icloud if insist on using usb cable, i've heard work. still when think cable sync, reminds me of star trek movie scotty tries talking mouse find out has use keyboard , says "how quiant."
