iPhone says 4G but doesn't seem to do anything

over last week or iphone 4s has been dropping out of at&t's data network. i've had 500mb transfer far on billing cycle , i'm still grandfathered in unlimited plan.

strange thing still displays full bars , 4g symbol next them. spinning data still spins when it's doing it's work, when using "speedtest.net" app see less 0.5 download , flat line upload.

time make genius bar appointment? know of issues?

 

it's not 4g, at&t convincing apple make customers believe is. enjoy hspa+
