Should I get a new MacBook Pro NOW?

you've heard rumours new redesigned macbook pro coming out soon... have bought one. problem 2008 macbook pro's display doesn't work anymore , apple geniuses i'll have pay around 700 fixed. don't know do. i'd rather buy new macbook pro when bought current macbook pro, new redesigned 1 came out few months later. don't want repeat itself...

guess question is, should wait new 1 come out , fix laptop or buy 1 now? need laptop work , can't without one. again don't want ultra thin laptop rather 1 need (i'm planning 17 inch 1 anyway) , current laptop quite good...

 

i see question being asked time.

answer always: if need it, now. if can wait, wait.

don't make such commodity dilemma.
