Buying a non unibody core 2 17" macbook pro off ebay a bad idea?
i thinking buying 1 of old non non unibody 17"s off ebay. never consider it, have heard great things squaretrade. pretty hold on till new summer model comes out. sell while still under warranty. core 2 duo. watch mkvs, use itunes heavily, , use music production software. think more enough me. 4 or 5 years old @ point wanted ideas.
if has 8600 nvidia graphics card, pass. had machine, 8600 failed 3 times - each time apple said replacements won't fail. lies.
