4/3G or just Wi Fi ?

my original ipad wifi , enjoyed it, travelling bit more , wanted 4g. came seattle. hotel wifi okay @ 4 in morning, couldn't connect when few people got on. switched 4g , got 25 mb download speed. used wanted, turned off. it's nice have in pocket when need connection.
