iPad Jailbreak Confusion

i have ipad 2 wifi version current on 4.3.3 jail-broken using jailbreakme.com

have shsh saved 5.0.1 on cydia's server.
don't have shsh 4.3.3

can upgrade 5.0.1 when jailbreak comes out or should now?

 

i've had 4.3.3 jailbroken months now.
i've been holding off update 5.0.1 until now.
apple event tomorrow , news got today , of late i'm updating i'm writing this.
won't have wait long.
