WSOD+power off when sleep+power on only to start up

so first post , sorry being noobish , repetition thread many this.
bought iphone 3gs on ios 5.x. (the latest) problem powered off when in sleep mode , rebooted when connected power. didnt cost me alot , wanted technical apple tech.
received iphone through post today, connected power , faced white screen. google turned saying wsod e.t.c. found 'solution' of home, volume , sleep button. doesnt work me, not apple logo coming up, got powered black screen once thats all.
1 attempt went onto white screen had grey/coloured lines running top bottom on right side.

options try here? aware hardware expecting parts need ordered , willing try luick @ fitting them.

(i have opened iphone, looks clean/un-tampered ribbon #3 looks has been off , replaced @ stage. have undone , re clipped ribbons (1,2+3)

also sound dropped iphone?

 

sounds damaged phone or 1 had stop working whatever reason. i'd suggest selling parts.
