Does the non-ability to use more than one window drive anyone else nuts?

i find difficult research , write @ same time current method of multitasking. know apple intended ipad more content consumption creation, if want break student market feel must. thoughts on possibility of happening in near future? musing, i've tried search "multiple windows" never seem come - i'd love hear other thoughts and/or possible workarounds this.
