i have had new macbook pro 2 weeks now. exploring , found "about mac" section. when viewing ram (i have 4 gb) found out both 2 gb slots in use. how in world possible? have downloaded office , applications skype , spotify. don't understand how of ram in use. planning on 1 day in future putting windows on laptop can run programs windows need 1 gb of ram that. also, heard less ram have slower computer is. can me figure out?
both physical slots have stick of ram in them. thus, in use. not mean 4gb of ram being used system.
