Editted my com.apple.boot.plist, now my Macbook won't boot.

i message ...

"you need restart computer. hold down power button until turns off, press power button again."

kept trying boot os x lion (10.7.2) 32 bit mode (needed install gpib drivers ni labview), nothing seemed work.

tried rebooting while holding "3" , "2" ... tried sudo command. nothing worked. lastly resorted editing com.apple.boot.plist ... every time start computer faced message.

there way undo this?

this called kernel panic. try holding down cmd+s while booting boot single user mode.

kicks try holding down 6 , 4 while booting force native 64 bit kernel.

if have hard drive bootable osx installation, boot , access hard drive external drive, , edit plist original state. if know else mac running lion connect macs via firewire , access drive on target disk mode.

if not work, suspect need reinstall osx.
