Buy Extended AppleCare?

my applecare warranty running out in middle of month, , i'm wondering general consensus renewing 3 years?

have 2011 model macbook pro , have little bit of money available, better used on other purchases.

 

considering cost of macbook repair i'd applecare worth it.
