Superdrive HELP!

just minute ago, had pull tab can of soda wedged opening of superdrive. when tried out, tab fell superdrive , cannot read cds or dvds. there way can tab out can read discs again? on issue appreciated.

have late 2011 13" macbook pro.

the first thing can try turning mbp off, gently lifting , gently make shaking movement , see if pull tab can worked out.

there several videos online show how take apart mbp , remove optical drive. once have optical drive out, there few screws can undone allowing open drive , remove pull tab.

if aren't confident of skills, take machine apple authorised repairer , have them remove you. luck pull tab not have caused damage optical drive.
