Is this a software or hardware problem

ok, past month , half, have had severe internet problems.

1) internet: use wifi. on average day, turning off , on 7 times throughout day connection back. else in house (non mac users) don't have problem severe.

2). charger: when charger plugged computer, sleep indicator light stays on. have unplug charger , wait 5 minutes start blinking or else when open mbp screen flash login window , flash off (along keyboard lights)

3). restart: have restart machine lot. once, restarted 4 times in row , still acting up

4). trash: don't have ability empty it. scans , says has 327 items delete...but stays still hours.

5). today: have reached point concerned. opened safari , loaded twitter. 2 minutes later opened new tab , went youtube favorites , page wouldn't load. stopped process on twitter , every other application running internet. tried restart computer , try again, seems after 15 minutes of browsing web, pages become unresponsive.

upgraded lion day released , i'm thinking software problem...then again, @ other stuff wrong.

plan on going best buy (the place purchased machine year ago). have no idea do. going best buy waste of time?

the issues list not related , not have internet connection.
use airport utility see channel you're using. airport radar widget (mac) show channels being used nearby networks, can choose 1 doesn't conflict.
try resetting smc.

should answer most, if not all, of battery questions:
why restarting? it's not necessary. "acting up"?
you can't empty trash or move file trash
solving trash problems
can't move files trash
launch activity monitor , change "my processes" @ top "all processes", click on cpu column heading once or twice, arrow points downward (highest values on top). see may consuming system resources.
