new IPAD buyer-can I add AppleCare+ after I buy?

i bought 2 new ipads both 64gb w/4g , wi fi. 1 of each color. bought applecare+ wifes ipad forgot add 1 bought daughter. can add applecare+ when receive ipad on 16th?
