g5 iMac fan on unless I put to sleep

on g5 fan never goes off unless put sleep. when unit goes sleep after not using while still on. ideas?

its 1 of thermal sensors not reading. computer can't reading safe runs them full blast. i'd check hard drive sensor, mounted on hd bracket , connects right above ram slots. check out. or there's chance capacitors on motherboard. i've seen fan issues that.
