Facetime Lags

i mentioned in topic, figured try own thread.

reason facetime lags badly (with same person)

key notes:
-i've tried rebooting before placing call
-we both have cable internet (15mb down, 3mb up)
-speedtest.net app on phone shows full 15 down, 3mb @ times.
-i have wireless n (medialink) router
-it seems work fine when use connection (making me think problem on end)
-i've tried opening ports suggested on apple site (via port forward), added phone ip dmz in router.

ideas great...

 

from info gave might issue particular router not playing nice facetime.
if works fine using other wifi connections dont know else think either.
