today went out around noon friend in manhattan, , last place remember having iphone 4s in h&m store on 125th. did check text , that's it. went have bite @ cafe next door, , went go apartment hunting. right when got agency, did pat-down , freaked out because phone totally missing.
ran apple store , tried use find iphone, phone offline. remotely locked , left message please call friend's phone number return phone. tried calling. @ first ring twice, go voicemail. voicemail. hour or later, friend tries calling again, , starts ringing real. no 1 picks up. run home , find iphone again. time phone registers, way in brooklyn on freeman st , manhattan ave.
went local precinct in harlem , filled out report, said couldn't because considered lost, , not crime, because didn't see took phone. @ point consider theft though because ignoring pleas return phone me, rightful owner.
called precinct local area pinpointed on fmi, , said come down there , officers escort me area. don't know can done @ point though. lie , don't have it. i'm gonna go down there anyway, freaking sucks. phone offline again @ point, btw.
had unlocked 64 gig 4s btw, expensive version buy. :'( first time i've ever had happen. bummed.
edit: phone found again on fmi @ same location. assuming it's home.
sorry man sucks. not sure if banging on doors in area such idea.
