10.7.3 with remapped web folder causes errant postgresql install

i updated 10.7.3 last night via full downloaded combo updater (which i've done), , have far had no problems whatsoever. did, however, have installer 1 bizarre thing:

while doing ftp sync shortly after update, noticed bunch of weird activity, , discovered "postgresql" in web directory, contains nothing html folder in turn contains 1038 html files--apparently entire postgresql documentation.

there's no question put there installer; while folders show december 11 creation date, modification date on .html files during install (i confirmed time system log, , doing nothing during install watching progress bar). haven't been messing system files long time, , i'd synchronized folder day before (so know wasn't there until recently).

expect know why picked particular folder; have remapped root directory of os's built-in web server folder (located in /users/shared), when preview http://localhost/ absolute paths in html work. shouldn't have done that, , i've been using configuration since 10.5 without misbehavior date.

else similar configuration seen happen?
