App Store downloads taking forever... Apple server overloaded?

not seeing many other posts wasn't sure if it's new ipad, downloading purchased apps app store taking forever... 30 minutes twitter, instance.

update: ok, may ipad. did when got home screen open app store, go purchased apps , started hitting install apps. led screens of app icons waiting status, , incredibly slow download speeds.

did tap each waiting icon change paused, unpause 1 @ time 1 app downloading. seems speed download.

 

it's quite slow , virgin media have curbed internet speed because have gone on pathetic download limit of 750mb i'm down 2.5 mb internet
