How do I activate a number from a 3GS to a 4

i got 4s, , had number pushed it. didn't change sim cards.

now, have dactivated 4, , wife has 3gs. there way can number activated on 4 without having go store or cut sim card or anything?

said sim on target phone, 4, deactivated , can't update it?

 

short answer no. either need cut down existing mini-sim or new micro-sim. 1 via mail if don't want go store pickup new micro-sim.

when new iphone 4s came new unactivted micro-sim that's why worked.
