Recovering iTunes Playlists After Restore from TM?

i experienced first mac catastrophe. fortunately, had both ccc , tm backups rely on recover. unfortunately, when recovered itunes library, although information itl file survived (playcounts , ratings, example), regular playlists didn't (smart playlists did). have no xml backups because thought data lived in itl. out of luck, or there someplace else should looking?

your playlists stored in subfolder in

~/music/itunes libraries/itunes mac/​

which should contain itunes library.xml file.
