Breakfast, dinner, tea vs. breakfast, lunch, dinner?

there rather heated discussion correct names main meals of day in university flat today , amused me!

personally, i've always said breakfast dinner tea, not breakfast lunch dinner.

appreciate both ways of saying correct (but you're more correct if breakfast dinner tea, ), , interested think.
