iPhone iPhone 3GS bricked need help...

hello everyone! have iphone 3gs believe on 4.2.1 ipad baseband 6.15.00. phone working fine , running smooth until apps started crash no reason. did reboot , stuck in recovery mode! tried using recboot kick out of recovery mode @ kick right in. tried using tiny umbrella , didnt work either. found useful video on how restore , update bricked 3gs 5.0. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lodnme0bgau&feature=channel_video_title thing im on mac , cant seem on mac since video shown done on windows. 1 have tips or can restore , update 5.0 or 5.0.1??? appreciated!

download newest pwnagetool , use generate 5.01 cfw keep baseband @ 6.15.

go tiny umbrella , make sure uncheck point cydia servers , close

option restore custom ipsw made pwnage tool , work

if error towards end, error 1 use redsn0w fix it.

gl, when finish tell me shsh blobs have saved, 5.01 on 3gs slooooow
