MacBook Pro keeps turning off

i have unibody 2008 macbook pro, , since shortly after got it turn off when i'm playing game. happens on both osx side , windows xp side.

@ first thought overheating, kept happening after bought cooling mat, , happens randomly, few seconds after starting, or hours later.

seems happen lot more when using dedicated graphics card, , when using integrated one. it's started doing lot more often, integrated card. makes virtually impossible play games on it, , said happens on osx , windows xp.

has else had these issues? have advice?
