Macbook not booting after failed Windows 7 Install

heya all,

first mac ever, shiny new macbook pro 17" came in mail today. w00t!

because need windows work, first thing did run bootcamp assistant. partitioned 100gb of 750gb drive windows. inserted windows 7 (x64 ultimate disc) , osx seemed think ok.

rebooted , got standard windows install screen i've breezed through thousand times. sadly on step of expanding files, installer crashed. choose correct partition windows.

when computer reboots grey screen 15 seconds, followed black screen blinking cursor on on top left.

i've tried removing windows cd booting while holding down trackpad. result same.

i've tried booting while holding option key, , without windows disc in, still black screen , blinking cursor.

i'm new osx, not windows or linux. have idea how can repair installation? can't boot either osx or windows. seems , boned =)

 

the behavior seems suggest hardware based failure.
