iPhone4s mute button, misplaced blue color when turned to silent

hi all!

first post here, , it's not happy one.

bought white iphone4s 2 days ago. noticed when turning mute/silent button , down, didn't slide smoothly, on sons 4s. button stuck half way too. took closer , compared phones. on phone there misplaced blue color when it's set silent, , on sons there's red color supposed to.

manufacturing defect or what? appreciate input on this.

definitely looks there's that's gone bit wrong there. take store bought , show them photos you've got (as actual phone, obviously) , should replace it. similar process if bought online, you'll have send off inspected , subsequently repaired or replaced.
