iPhone Not Connecting To Mac

hello.

i've got iphone 3gs , it's been working fine weeks.

of sudden, when plug in iphone mac nothing.

no recharge, no connection.

recharges when plug outlet, it's not chord.

i've rebooted both iphone , mac.

i've connected directly of mac , still nothing.

found if mac in sleep mode , plug iphone in awakes mac.

still no connection.

help?
