i trying install windows 7 on second internal hdd on macbook pro. tried use external optical drive windows disk, after bootcamp formatted drive , computer restarted, stuck on flashing off-white screen apple logo , circle line through flashing on , off. tried same process flash drive, , issue still remains.
how should go running windows on second hdd via bootcamp?

this can't done unfortunately external optical drive. went through same thing week ago. have have optical drive in computer work. luckily found way around it:
have mbp , mba. started install w7 flash drive mba. waited second reboot in install cycle , stopped when shut down. used winclone clone bootcamp partition mba. used winclone clone mbp bootcamp partition , finished installation there. works 100% , didn't have have optical drive in computer need mac no optical drive factory mba start installing windows.
or put disk drive in , move hdd main bay , install windows , move back. have done , works.
