Boot Camp on FW drive. (Bootcamp+windows already installed)

i've heard possible i'm having trouble...

had hd osx lion on (couldn't bootcamp do on usual sl system), put in mbp temporarily. partitioned , installed bootcamp on drive, installed windows, drivers, etc. booted , worked fine. took hd out, put in usb enclosure , attemped start windows it. when started up, did not see windows partition.

no dice. figured have issues i'm kind of stumped. installed refit on lion hd, , showed windows drive, told me insert bootable disc on startup. i'm going try refit on sl next, doubt work.

ideas? should install windows on internal sl drive , winclone over? didn't know how because everytime try sl drivers gives me error "unable locate drivers" or that... maybe winclone firefire drive?

appreciated, i'm tired of vm's , don't want use lot of space on internal. not mention can't drivers work sl.

thanks!

windows not resilient os x , other *nix systems in can't start bootable bus connection such usb/fw/sata/scsi etc.

put windows has run storage bus installed on. simple changes changing sata mode or updating firmware can send windows tailspin , have refusing boot or blue screening stop 7b error.
