3.2 quad upgrade to 3.33 six core question

hey guys,

bought 3.2 quad mac pro last year 24gigs of ram , ssd drive.

machine has been working wanting boost. working out of cs5 (64bit) , lightroom 3 (64bit). heavy photo editing medium format camera....so pictures 40megapixels. simple editing quick if heavy editing requires high cpu usage waiting.

jump 6 core 3.33 much? see photoshop takes full advantage of 4 cores when doing big edits...they pegged @ 100% using plugins. trying figure out if 2 cores along slight boost in mhz

other question simple upgrade (meaning replace processor , done)

 

it in lightroom. not in ps cept 133mhz boost.
