eMac problems (broken power switch ?)

in past months emac has been having problems when switching on. computer not start immediately, requiring multiple or prolonged pushes on power button. yesterday refused start altogether. thought pram battery may culprit, bought , installed new one. emac still refused start. today did last attempt before calling technical assistance, , surprise computer switched on. more or less reaction: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znwiiknwjtg&feature=related
i'm thinking problem may broken power button. know can buy new one, , can find instructions on how replace it? can't find on ebay , prices i've seen online seem bit high. reasonable price be?
don't think i'm gonna switch computer off, know if there way restart without pressing power button. i've seen people suggesting set computer restart after black out , pull plug out of socket. wouldn't risk further damage doing that?

can not disassemble button unit can discover not touching. it's not have lose.

if cannot find 1 on ebay. check craigslist broken unit. after hit forum members see if got old broken units not need power button anymore.
