Google not loading properly
ok, i'm @ wits end here. tried looking thru forum similar post, or googling question, , found nothing helpful.
problem google.com not loading. won't load on safari or on google chrome, , won't conduct searches. error saying server unavailable.
i'm running mac os x 10.7.2 on 2011 macbook pro.
not happen always, occurs intermittently, when built in search option -configured google- safari won't work (neither built in search chrome).
i'll try using ipad's safari , work no problem, on mac it's no go.
tried resetting safari, emptying it's cache , didn't fix it. if on windows pc i'd blame malware, i'm not sure if case on mac.
doesn't occur often, enough cause concern. has run same problem, or better yet, know how fix problem?
this sounds dns failure somewhere. dns system responsible translating http://www.google.com/ ip address used internally. check dns settings, go system preferences, network. click advanced. click tcp/ip tab.
