Chinese Customs Tells Proview That Ban of iPad Exports Would be Difficult

reuters reports proview technology apparently have hard time blocking apple ipad exports china. on tuesday, we reported proview seeking block on both chinese imports , exports of ipad on trademark dispute apple. given apple's ipad manufacturing centered in china, such move "catastrophic" apple.

however, china's customs authorities told proview difficult execute such ban due popularity of apple's products:
as many commenters have noted, china's foxconn manufacturers many of apple's products including ipad, , ban on exports negatively impact foxconn well.

apple claims purchased chinese rights trademark several years ago, original owner proview , chinese courts have disagreed assertion. apple's case still pending chinese courts seeks appeal earlier rulings.
