issues with ipad2 ios 5.0.1

any 1 has idea why ipad auto shut down itself?

example; locked ipad , left aside. 15 mins later, tried unlocking it. nothing show up, except black screen.

tried on on again, still there's no reaction of ipad. way re-turn on ipad press lock , home button reset it.

can please solve prob me?
