Resolved DaisyDisk reporting 60+ GB of "hidden space"

how can clear up? need space!

idea be? if *just* local tm "snapshots," shouldn't daisydisk able tell much?

per daisydisk website did run disk utility , perform "repair permissions" on boot volume, still shows hidden space...

turned tm off, suppose didn't expect : /

for space issues, there few things can try:

• begin restarting computer first step. resolves issues.
• for time machine users on lion, space may being consumed time machine local snapshots, can disabled.
• search finder see if space being consumed large file or several large files. adjust 50gb in illustration whatever size deem appropriate.

• use omnidisksweeper, jdisk report or grandperspective see how space being used on drive. of these apps may show more detail others, try several.
