2 nights cheap/cheerful accomodation in New York March 2012.

hi folks,

i'm off nyc work client , i'm going extend couple of days personal time.

per title, i'm looking recommendations somewhere cheap/cheerful.

i'll checking in on friday 16th of march , checking out on sunday 18th (so 2 nights).

initial work, i'll staying somewhere around meatpacking district, after i'd ideally stay somewhere in midtown manhatten, appreciate prices won't cheap or cheerful!

other thing i'd (preferably ethernet) internet access, can stay in touch swmbo & son (i've got vonage phone adaptor might take me voice calls, use skype/facetime).

know of little gems?
