does have experience lacie external hdds? things reliability, noise, comparison other brands (wd, seagate etc).

i'm looking @ getting external hdd time machine ups imac , mbp (should have done while ago) , advice.

 

lacie not make hard drives, make enclosures , stick whatever can cheapest inside them. platter-based hard drives same; buy 1 best warranty fits budget , size requirements.
