Kernel panic caused by wireless card, or the USB hub it is attached to?

running 10.5.8 here. i've got alfa awus036h usb wireless card plugged usb hub built dell monitor.

every often, stops connecting network. can't turn on , off again, unplugging causes kernel panic, shutting down causes computer hang after logging out on blank screen , makes fans run @ full speed after while (really loud.)

anyway, i'm wondering if it's actual card that's problem, or if it's fact it's plugged usb port in monitor usb hub.

code in bold made me wonder:

code:
