Restoring without upgrading firmware?

i have 4s , "other" folder in itunes shows @ 1.56gb seems excessively high. im on 5.01, , want stay there (so can utilize gevey unlock card on upcoming trip), downloaded 5.01 ipsw , option selected in itunes, came "device isn't eligible" warning. went terminal , host address blocked # in front of it... i'm unsure now? appreciated.

 

1.56gb lot? hardly. mine's showing 7gb. firmware can restore 4s 5.1.
