TIP: New iPad users restoring from iCloud

app downloads, app downloads, app downloads.
okay, icloud great restoring device how was. because i've bought new ipad.

but, of apple inc. apps, amongst many others have recent been updated support retine display.

please, favour , don't let ipad download these apps backup. delete them, , re download them directly app store.

chances are, last backup may if downloaded old apps. it's downloading once more, having download them once again support retina updates.

word of warning (and save time) similar case.

 

when restore icloud backup on iphone or ipad it's downloading apps app store.

wouldn't make sense apple store individual apps in individual backups millions of times over. that's lot of wasted space.
