my short story: installed bytafont font update , new version of font caused phone go endless respring loop.

should able fix if can copy of fonts cache folder off ios 5 (specifically 5.0.1, i'm sure ios 5 or maybe ios 4 folder work). can found in system\library\fonts , folder called cache; need entire cache folder. contains normal fonts come iphone.
