Finding a stolen Macpro?

i have macpro 2007-2008 stolen. did not have lojack or tracking software installed on it.

1. there anyway can find mac when person took goes online it?

2. there anyway can find using serial number?

you can report stolen , hope, thief goes apple update or repair. other that, there nothing can do.
