SSD+HDD and boot camp partition - what's customary?

just picked 256gb ssd , plan put 750gb hdd in new mbp 15" optibay. plan on partitioning boot camp use win 7, got me thinking:

since win 7 can address hfs filesystem, should leave hdd , split ssd between ntfs , hfs? leave boot partition on ssd each system, entire hfs "media drive" (or other) in optibay should addressable either os, right?

 

hfs not addressable natively win 7. bootcamp adds functionality. furthermore, bootcamp adds read-only hfs functionality.

best way either sdd 50/50 hfs/ntfs , hdd 50/50 hfs/ntfs or sdd 100/0 hfs/ntfs , hdd 50/50 hfs/ntfs.
