Is it adviceable to upgrade "old" apps in iPad 2 to the new Retina feature?

i know has been discussed in several threads, hereby try , gather , update info: days now, several app makers have sent ipad 2 option of upgrading "the old" (not-retina) app upgrade that, among other features, make app fit new ipad's retina display. far, have been reluctant carry out upgrade - instance, read in post pages upgrade (with "retina display files" in upgrade) demand more storage on ipad, , have ipad 2 of course not benefit me - on contrary: more space taken away without getting positive back.

there general advice, then, avoid such retina display upgrades device (e.g. ipad 2) doesn't take advantage of "rd-files/upgrade" anyway?

of course: there may other reasons upgrade, if these reasons not strong ones, should 1 keep app on ipad 2 is, without retina display upgrade?

how crucial space you. generally, if have ample spare, , upgrading not cost money (unlike tapatalk hd version), see little reason not upgrade, unless ipad flooded cannot spare few hundred mb. :)
