-just couple updates thread:
note don't use mac side @ all.. rare go mac os, runs fine.
-note when in mac os can see bootcamp partition not win7 files
-i can files on external drive formatted fat32
-there utility software allow getting ntfs win7 files mac don't bother
-below mac2 refers pc in office...
-i can mac files win7 os when running fine.
method used resize bootcamp partition running win7 64 bit woud bigger. reduced size of mac partition 50g , increased win7 bootcamp 50g.
done without having re-install windows or re-create bootcamp part.

*** brief instructions:
1. create backup image of bootcamp win7 partition (400gig in size)
-used winclone 3.0 - took 8hrs run
- application $19.95 (used many times , works great)

-created backup image on wd passport usb drive 400g mac hpfs partition on it
-this not have done - of course recommended
-also have simple backup of files on cloud server using "crashplan"
-also have simple backup of files on local computer harddrive
- image load bootcamp partition new macbook if needed , not have re-install windows , aplications...
- note winclone has instructions on re-sizing partitions , method works - requires destroy win7 bootcamp , reinstall using image, fine takes longer,
- use winclone create image , in worst case can use image restore win7 partition, should not need ....
2. in mac os using disk utility able shrink mac os partition down 50g - took 15min complete - of course must have 50g of unused space in partition shrink up.
-it did show warning there bootcamp partition , may damaged - if mess partition, changing size of mac partition, not mess or hurt bootcamp partition
-so here reduced size of mac partition no problem
-in here did not mess bootcamp partition
-if change bootcamp partition in here lose win7 , have reinstall image or scratch
3. in win7 64bit os
- download free application "minitool partition wizard home edition v7.1"
-using selected bootcamp partition - resized - increased take 50g of "unallocated space" left of bootcamp part.
-selected apply
-this has reboot , run it's application on boot up
-this took 10min run on reboot
4. in win7 os , bootcamp partition 50g bigger, 450g.
-ran chkdisk sure ok - took 10min , fine

1. installed / run new version of winclone 3.0
-run win7 chk disk
-restart mac2 - hold option key - boot mac os
-downloaded www.twocanoes.com 19.95
-i downloaded in win7 , burned cd
-have make sure installed application - when first comes install screen have drag winclone app icon
over application icon in application screen - kind of visual install dialog box on screen
-now app should in finder - file finder - applicaitons - listed here , started here
-don't want run cd...
-i had tried run cd refuse work because of security errors , running write protected media
-so once copied cd desktop , ran install dialog applications ok, has installed, not copied
or run desktop or cd - install program dialog box
-connected wd external hdd passport usb port
-first had use mac disk utitity create mac hpfs partition on usb drive, needed save image to
-applications - utilities - disk utility - selected usb drive - used partition tool resize , divide drive 375g mac, 375g win
-now can save bootcamp win7 image mac hpfs partition winclone
-ran winclone make clone backup of win7 bootcamp partition
-was saved wd usb drive "mac2win7-winclone031912.winclone"
-this took 10hrs run (400gig+)
--- tried use camptune x resize partitions - ran night , locked up, tried twice not work needed
2. shrink size of mac partition 100gig down 50gig
-boot mac os
-applications - utilities - disk utility - select top drive - partition - resize
-select mac partition - shrink - type in new size 50gig - apply
-did see warning bootcamp partition not mess here @ all
-now mac partition smaller leaving empty "unallocated" space between mac , bootcamp win7 partitions
3. increase size of bootcamp win7 partition use "unallocated space"
-boot win7
-downloaded free copy of minitool partition wizard home edition v7.1
-this version free www.partitionwizard.com
-once installed - run partition wizard
-selected bootcamp partition - resize - drag slider left unallocated space
-then ok
-now go upper right , click apply
-it had restart computer - , did resize on boot ins it's own app running before win7 boot
-this took 10 min run
-now booted win7 , ok - win7 partition increased in size
4. ran chkdisk on partition sure ok
-control panel - admin tools - computer mgmt - disk mgmt - rt clk select partition - properties - tools - error chking check now
-it schedule chkdisk on reboot
-reboot system
-chk disk runs on boot - takes 10 min - ok
i glad see official/supported version of winclone dead again. makes lots of windows on mac operations easier!
