My wifi connection keeps dropping out

32 gig wifi new ipad purchased last week

after working fine week, ipad can no longer sustain wifi connection. keeps fading in , out. when try reconnect says cannot connect home network. else had problem?

tried rebooting ipad, resetting cable modem etc. nothing works. laptop , touch connect fine.

 

try resetting network settings. (general > reset > reset network settings)
had problem (restored ipad 2 backup) , seems have been fine far since doing that.
