Thunderbolt SSD & Standardized SSDs

hi,

have few questions regarding sdds.

please tell me benefits and/or drawbacks of buying thunderbolt ssd, (when become more available) boot , load applications / opposed buying imac internal ssd?

also, if apple standardize ssds in 2012 imac, how cheaper think be, seeing prices have dropped ssds since last may? (obviously total speculation here).
if ssd comes standard imac, prices match current imacs without ssd?

thanks.

no draw backs other external drive more prone accidental disconnects. can build nice better performing external thunderbolt ssd less ones on market. can pickup empty seagate freeagent goflex enclosure on ebay , install 2.5" sata iii ssd under 480gb, plus cost of seagate thunderbolt goflex 2.5" adapter.

seagate thunderbolt goflex 2.5" adapter - $99
seagate feeagent goflex enclosure on ebay - $20
240gb mushkin enhanced chronos sf-2281 - $244
