Resolved How do I move the insertion point?

hi,

i'm getting stuck should simple. if i've entered text text box, how move insertion point within box? example, today typed "i distracted by" , held finger on box paste link. tapped in wrong place , ended "i distracted <link> by". however, couldn't figure out how insertion point end of box delete "by".

particular app using (imo messenger) has "attachment" icon @ end of text box tapping @ end of box opening "add attachment" options. how can move insertion point around in box?

coming android, had trackball great sort of thing; spinning ball moved cursor 1 character @ time. unfortunately, none of iphone keyboard options seem have arrows or other text navigation. missing?

 

hold screen until magnifying glass pops up, slide finger want start typing , release.
