i accidentally somehow bricked old ipod touch year ago when jailbroke it. don't have many detail's on did (although did use phone explorer mess around files, bad idea) , restarted ipod , wouldn't load past apple logo. tried putting dfu mode , every other trick in book restore no avail. geniuses scratching heads. question is:
how make backup restore if things go haywire? read article while said there's way top make backup or through cydia restore if things go wrong. forgot called though.

i'm not looking fix ipod, backup plan in case shiney new iphone 4s dies when jailbreak comes out.
if concern 4s winding old ipod, here's idea... don't edit raw files did before. ta-da.
